New Remastered Version Of Mother's Day Music Video Available Now

It's been 2 years since we released "Mother's Day" and its accompanying music video. As you know, that music video was made on a shoestring budget and edited by me. I might know my way around the recording studio, but back then I didn't know anything about video editing, nor did I have access to the right tools for the job! As a perfectionist, there were a lot of shots in that video that have always bothered me. Things such as a really (unintentionally) shaky camera, uneven color tones, and poor indoor/night lighting have always been a point of contention for me. Luckily, two years have allowed my editing skills to improve and now I have the knowledge plus the tools to make the video better. There's still some things I'd like to do but short of going back out and reshooting some scenes (and let's face it, that's pretty impractical and unnecessary for a project this old), things aren't going to get much better for this video than what you're about to see.

With that said, I'm hereby pulling a George Lucas and releasing a new "Special Edition" re-edit of my first music video, featuring enhanced visuals made possible only by the continual advancements in technology and made accessible to amateur filmmakers like myself.

Notable improvements include stabilized shaky footage (made possible by the new Warp Stabilizer for Adobe After Effects CS5.5), artificial shallow depth-of-field effects, and improved color correction via Magic Bullet. Check it out below and let us know what you think! We hope you like the improvements!
